Patient and Public Involvement

Home

At the Cancer Prevention Group (CPG), patients and members of the public are at the heart of everything we do. The CPG is a research group based at King’s College London. Our research focuses on screening, early detection and treatment of cancer.

As 1 in 2 people will get cancer in their lifetime, the ways that we prevent and detect cancer need to work for everyone.

At the CPG, we recognise and appreciate the diversity that exists in society and how this can impact on early detection of cancer. We want our research to help as many people as possible, regardless of their backgrounds.

To achieve this, we are always looking to involve patients and members of the public from diverse backgrounds to help shape our research.
